Developing Our Reading Abilities/Developing Our Music Abilities

COMING SOON!!

Read to Succeed / Music to Learn

Diane T. Bailey founded Praise Production Association Inc. in 2000. We are a site-based non-profit organization with 501c3 status. Our programs help to build self-esteem through initiatives that promote literacy proficiency and music education among youth and adult learners. Our programs are developed based on Christian principles. All are welcome! Our goal is to support low-income communities by providing tangible resources that will support student success and professional development.

We were successful in achieving our goal for this program in the New York City area with high standards. In March 2017, I retired and relocated to Concord, North Carolina. As a result, we had to discontinue our program in New York. Residing in North Carolina, I have found that there is a great need for our Praise Production Program in the culturally and financially diverse area of Concord, North Carolina, and its surrounding county. My goal is to serve in Cabarrus County and the Charlotte area of North Carolina to help raise student performance in the area of reading and language arts in the classroom as well as on standardized testing.

Praise Production will consist of the following programs:
1. D.O.R.A. Developing Our Reading Abilities:  Phonemic Awareness, The Correct Sounds of the Alphabet, Controlled Blending using the "McMurtrey Method"

2. D.O.M.A. Developing Our Music Abilities: Piano, Vocal and Praise Dance
Artistic training will be available only to students registered in the reading program.
3. The art or skill of writing by hand ( penmanship-handwriting/cursive)

Who Is Diane Bailey
Diane Theresa Bailey, CEO and Founder
Praise Production Association Inc.
A child who struggled with reading due to Dyslexia and placed in Special Ed. The lack of support led to low self-esteem and shame. It fueled my desire to help those experiencing similar challenges. Despite those obstacles I faced early in life, I received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I am living proof that with adequate support and resources, a learning disability does not have to stop you from achieving your goals in life. At PPAI, we are passionate about helping others overcome obstacles and achieve success. We like to say:
"It's not how you start/ It's how you finish."
The Mission imageThe Mission image
Our mission is to support the development of family literacy for children, youth, and adults by providing reading and writing skills, as well as workshops for artistic training. We will strive to build self-esteem, self-image, a positive attitude, a desire for excellence, cooperation, and group cohesiveness through our mentoring program and the ability to set goals with a ready-to-work emphasis on improving one's own life.

"The worth of a book is to be measured by what you can carry away from it."
